Cot jumpers 🛏
If you find your young toddler has become rather adventurous and is climbing / jumping / falling out of their cot, there are a couple of different ways you can tackle this
• keep them in a sleeping bag
• try using a portocot instead (mesh walls are harder to climb)
• remove the base of the cot and have the mattress just off the floor as per the pic, making the sides much higher / harder to climb
I recommend your toddler stays in a cot to close to 3 years of age if possible, but if they continue to climb out, it becomes a safety issue and they may need to go into a bed earlier than this.
